SAP FI Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP FI Project Manager to join our client’s team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead SAP Financial Accounting (FI) projects, driving financial system optimization and supporting the company’s growth in the manufacturing sector.

Position Overview:

As an SAP FI Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure that SAP FI solutions are implemented effectively, enhancing financial processes and supporting the company's strategic goals.

Tasks:

• Project Management: Lead SAP FI implementation and enhancement projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand financial processes, and align SAP FI solutions with business objectives.
• Solution Design: Oversee the design and configuration of SAP FI solutions, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the manufacturing industry, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the project lifecycle and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project alignment and effective collaboration.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, issues, and risks, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all SAP FI solutions meet the company's quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Training and Support: Oversee the training of end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of SAP FI solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP FI module and implement solutions to drive operational efficiency.

Profile:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP FI Project Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of SAP FI modules and financial processes.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP FI configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial processes in the manufacturing industry, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting.
• Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and delivering large-scale SAP projects on time and within budget.
• Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and drive project success.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and provide clear project updates.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on addressing complex challenges and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
