We are currently seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our client’s in-house team. Position Overview:
As an SAP FI/CO Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. You will collaborate with finance teams, business stakeholders, and IT to optimize financial processes, streamline reporting, and ensure the smooth operation of financial management in a pharmaceutical setting.
Tasks:
- Solution Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and implement SAP FI/CO modules to meet business requirements, covering areas like general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis.
- Business Collaboration: Work closely with finance teams and business stakeholders to understand financial processes and reporting needs, ensuring that SAP FI/CO configurations align with overall business objectives.
- Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve financial processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial reporting and controlling.
- Customization and Configuration: Configure SAP FI/CO modules to handle the company’s specific financial processes, including integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and external systems.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert support to finance users, troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to SAP FI/CO functionality, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that financial systems comply with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, contributing to accurate financial reporting and audit readiness.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training for finance teams, ensuring they are well-versed in using SAP FI/CO functionalities, and maintain detailed system documentation.
- Project Involvement: Participate in SAP projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and financial rollouts, contributing to successful project execution within the pharmaceutical industry.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of SAP FI/CO with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless financial data flow across departments.
Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant, ideally within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment, with strong expertise in financial and controlling processes.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP FI (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis) modules, with experience in customization and configuration.
- Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes, including cost allocation, budget control, and financial reporting, within a regulated industry like pharmaceuticals.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering effective solutions that enhance financial management.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, finance professionals, and IT stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience managing SAP FI/CO projects, including system upgrades and implementations, ensuring timely and successful project outcomes.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulatory requirements and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and their application within SAP FI/CO.
- Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
