SAP FI/CO Consultant

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our client’s team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and enhance SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Position Overview:

As an SAP FI/CO Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules to support the company’s financial processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure the effective utilization of SAP FI/CO solutions, driving financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Tasks:

• Solution Design: Develop and configure SAP FI and CO solutions to meet the specific financial needs of the organization, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and internal controlling processes.
• Business Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand financial processes and challenges, and align SAP FI/CO functionalities with business objectives.
• System Implementation: Manage the implementation and customization of SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with other SAP systems and meet organizational requirements.
• Optimization: Continuously optimize SAP FI/CO solutions to enhance process efficiency, improve system performance, and support evolving business needs.
• Integration Management: Oversee the integration of SAP FI/CO with other SAP modules and third-party applications to ensure accurate and seamless data flow.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system-related problems to ensure smooth operation.
• Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for users, and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and customizations.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure SAP FI/CO solutions comply with financial regulations and reporting requirements, providing support for audits and financial reporting.

Profile:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP FI and CO modules and functionalities.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of financial and controlling processes within the manufacturing industry, including financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design solutions that address complex financial challenges.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
• Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
