- Consulting and solution design in the area of ??warehouse management with a focus on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM)
- Independent control and implementation of logistics projects on the IT side in close cooperation with the departments
- Support and further development of the company's own SAP solutions in the warehouse and logistics environment including technical implementation (including customizing)
- Co-design and support of the S/4 Hana transformation
- Testing and rolling out EWM or other SAP solutions to the relevant locations
- Advising the departments on the conception, implementation and optimization of business processes and IT solutions as well as coordination on the optimal implementation of change requests
- Creation of specifications and IT concepts including coordination of all aspects of system architecture and development
- Carrying out SAP release changes and upgrades in collaboration with other SAP teams and affected departments
- Independent implementation of workshops and trainings
- Coordination and support of tests including support from the departments during test execution
- Problem analysis and resolution as part of 2nd and 3rd level support
- Coordination of external service providers and implementation partners
This is what sets you apart:
- Completed studies in economics, computer science, business informatics or comparable training
- In-depth process understanding in the area of ??warehouse logistics - inbound, outbound and internal warehouse logistics - including master data, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Profound experience - at least two years - in SAP EWM: SAP Embedded and decentralized EWM including ERP connection
- Knowledge of other modules is an advantage (Stock Room Management, SAP LE/WM, MM-IM, SAP TM with interface to warehouse management)
- ABAP knowledge is desirable (e.g. debugging, knowledge of the relevant BAdIs)
- Ideally, you have experience in connecting warehouse operating devices to EWM (e.g. MFS)
- Experience in designing cross-system IT solutions
- High level of independence and initiative
- Strong teamwork skills and flexibility
- Comprehensive task and process-oriented thinking and action as well as analytical thinking skills
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills for the purpose of coordinating and implementing workshops, project meetings, training and support
