Freelance Opportunity – SAP EH&S Consultant
I am currently supporting my key customer in their search for a freelance SAP EH&S Consultant.

The role will play a key part in driving system optimization, regulatory alignment, and process enhancements within the SAP EH&S module.

Project Scope:
As part of the SAP functional team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation, customization, and support of SAP Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) components there will be a focus on product safety and stewardship.

The goal is to improve regulatory compliance, safety performance, and product stewardship processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain SAP EH&S Product Safety functionalities, including Specification Management, Report Management, and Phrase Management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Lead system enhancements, data migration, and interface development with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM).
• Ensure alignment with global and EU regulatory compliance standards (e.g., REACH, CLP, GHS).
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, and UAT), user training, and documentation.
• Provide expertise in incident management and safety reporting workflows.
• Support change management and ensure business continuity during upgrades or transitions.

Project details:
Location: Belgium customer but role is remote
Start Date: May
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with extensions
Rate: Negotiable based on experience
