SAP BI Manager

A global manufacturer with approximately 1,400 employees produces a range of specialty chemicals used in various industries, including paints and coatings, lubricants, functional fluids, and personal care products.

Your role:

• Design system landscapes for data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting, utilizing platforms like SAP Datasphere and other industry tools.
• Manage and select external service providers for platform support.
• Coordinate solutions with application managers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through monitored and coordinated ETL processes.
• Oversee application management services provided by external partners.
• Actively contribute to and lead projects within your area of responsibility.
• Ensure the continued operation of legacy systems until replacements are implemented.
• Manage the support budget and oversee expenses related to application management.

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or relevant vocational training with additional certifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• An independent, structured approach to work.
• Experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of SAP BW (/4 & ON HANA) and SAP Power BI is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English to support international teams.
