Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator

As part of our continuous growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our IT team. This role is essential to ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our SAP systems, which are critical to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the SAP landscape, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Provide administration and support for SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.), ensuring system stability and availability.

Perform system installations, upgrades, patches, and configurations for SAP software and related databases.

Ensure security compliance by managing user access, roles, and authorizations in SAP systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP modules and applications, ensuring seamless integration across business functions.

Handle SAP backup and recovery procedures, as well as disaster recovery planning and testing.

Optimize SAP system performance by performing regular health checks, database tuning, and capacity planning.

Participate in SAP projects, such as system migrations, cloud integrations, and hardware upgrades.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator, ideally within a production or manufacturing company.

Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Fiori.

Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.

Proficiency in SAP database administration (e.g., Oracle, HANA, or SQL Server).

Hands-on experience in SAP security, including roles and authorizations.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve system issues in a timely manner.

Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
