We are currently seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our client’s IT team. Position Overview:

As an SAP Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, management, and optimization of the SAP environment. Your role will involve close collaboration with IT and business teams to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the SAP systems. You will play a critical role in supporting the company’s ongoing operations and future growth.

Tasks:

• System Administration: Manage and maintain SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
• System Upgrades and Patching: Plan, coordinate, and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure smooth operation.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures, including user access control, system monitoring, and compliance with industry standards.
• Backup and Recovery: Manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to the SAP Basis environment, working closely with other IT teams.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to support SAP projects, integrations, and other initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.

Profile:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator with a strong understanding of SAP system architecture and administration.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis, including system installation, configuration, and management.
• System Knowledge: Experience with SAP NetWeaver, HANA, and cloud-based SAP environments.
• Security and Compliance: Familiarity with SAP security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Project Management: Experience in managing and delivering IT projects is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
• Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
