SAP ABAP Developer

We need your skills for the following areas of responsibility:
In the promotional business, we use an SAP-based application that offers functions of the SAP standard modules BP (business partner) and LM (loan module) under an integrated, self-developed interface and has many other self-developed functions , including an integrated correspondence solution. There are important and interesting projects coming up for this system in the near future, such as the conversion to an S/4 HANA system and the replacement of the integrated correspondence solution with a standard software solution to be selected and integrated. We need reinforcements for the development team that maintains and further develops this central application of our funding business and in particular the interface to the correspondence solution. The application development is based on ABAP and ABAP OO. 
Together with the development team, you are responsible for the technical support and further development of this SAP-based application, both in day-to-day business and in projects.  Your focus is on the interface to the correspondence system as well as other correspondence and reporting functions.


Your tasks:

• Project, sub-project or work package management in projects to expand IT for the promotional business
• Refinement of general technical concepts in collaboration with technically oriented IT support staff and using departments,
• Creation and coordination of IT technical implementation concepts using object-oriented design principles and domain driven design,
• Technical implementation, especially programming in ABAP and ABAP OO,
• Planning, execution and control of developer, functional, module, system and integration tests,
• Planning and execution of production operations,
• Management and control of technical application operations,
• Error analysis and processing,
• Maintenance of technical system documentation.

These qualifications distinguish you:

• You have a degree with a focus on computer science or business informatics or a corresponding training.
• You have good theoretical and practical knowledge of data modeling, procedural and object-oriented programming. 
• You have many years of experience in SAP application development with ABAP, both procedural and object-oriented.
• You have good theoretical and practical knowledge of the SAP ERP system (especially SAP modules LM and GP) and web services technology in SAP systems (SOA Manager).
• You have several years of experience in IT projects as a project employee, sub-project manager or project manager.
• You are independent and proactive, have good logical-analytical thinking and abstraction skills, have strong communication and teamwork skills and have the following language skills according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages: German B2-C2.
