Reporting directly into the Head of Paid Search, you will be working on some of today's most explosive paid search accounts, supporting the business with world class execution of Google Ads campaigns. Given the nature of the clients we work with, there are major opportunities for deep innovation within the accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise a cohort of client's Google Ads accounts to meet performance and budget targets.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven decisions and providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Continuously identify new opportunities and approaches for growth within the clients' accounts. This means proactively leading on roadmap ideas and testing new features and betas.
- Provide advice on technical and creative best practices and handle ad hoc client queries.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Ads updates and industry trends, and share knowledge with the wider Paid Search team.
- Train and manage junior team members.
- Communicate effectively with clients and the wider team, logging activity and updating relevant parties on changes.
Requirements:
- At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Google Ads, including running Search, Shopping, and PMAX campaigns.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce metrics and website funnel performance.
- Experience running Discovery, GDN, or YouTube ads, working to relevant KPI’s
- Ability to see the story behind the data and provide meaningful insights for account growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and ideas to clients and team members.
- Excellent PowerPoint/Google Sheets skills, including the ability to create clear, engaging presentations that effectively communicate complex information.
- Ability to fully own and execute growth initiatives, and where necessary effectively delegate tasks to junior executives.
- Experience using Google Analytics and other products in the Google stack.
- Experience with relevant 3rd party tools (attribution, bid management, feed optimisation etc)
