Mechanical Engineer

Energize is partnered with an early stage robotics startup who are looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to it's high performing engineering team.

About the Role

Working with in a small team under 10 people, there’s a ton of opportunity for high equity & high product ownership. You should strongly consider applying if:

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience working in either of the following - Automotive/Aerospace/Robotics

• Experience working for a fast paced start up

• Understand the entire system you’re working with and making multidisciplinary trade offs - e.g. actuators, power electronics, communication protocols, controls approaches, structures, etc.

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes - e.g. machining, injection molding, sheet metal, weldments, casting, etc.

• Hands-on experience building things and are able to write clear documentation to manage technicians.

• Highly skilled with detailed CAD assemblies and drawings in Solidworks.

• Experience shipping production hardware and pride yourself on making robust assemblies that last for years.
