Job Title: JavaScript Developer (Office.js / Excel Add-ins)

Overview
We are seeking a JavaScript Developer with proven expertise in creating solutions that enhance user experience, efficiency, and performance across core technology applications. The immediate focus will be building custom Excel Add-ins using Office.js, extending Excel’s capabilities to support seamless workflows for our investment and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom Excel Add-ins leveraging Office.js.

• Build user-friendly, intuitive solutions that integrate with Excel and improve data workflows.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested JavaScript code with a focus on scalability and performance.

• Collaborate with a small team of internal and external developers while operating as an independent contributor.

• Deliver solutions that improve how teams interact with and analyze data in Microsoft Excel.

• Ensure high-quality UI/UX design in add-in features to maximize adoption and usability.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Hands-on experience with Office.js or building Office/Excel Add-ins.

• Familiarity with Excel object models and working with complex data sets.

• Proven ability to deliver production-quality applications with attention to detail, testing, and maintainability.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and within small teams.

• Experience in financial services, investment management, or data-driven environments is a plus.
