Job Title: Freelance Senior functional EWM Consultant
Location: Munich, Germany (German-speaking profile)
Duration: Full-time, 100%, 6 months initial contract with 6-month rolling extensions until 2027.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Senior EWM Consultant to join one of my key German customers for a challenging S/4 HANA project based in Germany. You will be involved with the implementation and roll-out of EWM solutions to meet the dynamic needs of our client.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Solution Design: Design comprehensive EWM solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure, customize, and implement EWM functionalities according to project requirements, leveraging SAP tools and technologies.
- Integrate EWM with other SAP modules (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM)
- Develop test scenarios, conduct system testing, and perform quality assurance activities to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of EWM solutions.
- Offer post-implementation support, address user queries and issues, and proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as an EWM Consultant, with a strong track record of successful project implementations and delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure setup, master data management, inbound and outbound processes, warehouse monitoring, and RF framework.
- Proficiency in configuring EWM settings and parameters, defining storage types, bins, and warehouse processes, and implementing advanced features such as slotting and task interleaving.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to understand complex business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally and work on-site at client locations within Germany as required.
Contract Details:
Start date: June
Languages: German and English
Rate: €/hr (market rates)
Duration: Initial 6 contract with rolling 6 months extensions until 2027
Full-time: 5 days per week
Onsite requirements: 3 weeks remote and 1 week onsite per month
Travel Expenses will be paid by the customer
