Full-time, 100%, 6 months initial contract with 6-month rolling extensions until 2027.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance Senior MDM Consultant to join one of my key German customers, for a challenging business critical S/4 HANA project. You will be involved with the implementation and roll-out of S/4 HANA to meet the needs of our client.

The scoping phase has now been completed and the project will soon be starting the fit-gap stage.

The consultant will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing the SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) solution with a focus on Business Partner Master Data. This role requires fluency in German and extensive experience with SAP MDG, S/4 HANA, and integration with master data tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration, and implementation of the SAP MDG solution, the customer already has the big three master data objects: customer master, vendor master, and business partner master.
  
  
• Manage and optimize Business Partner Master Data within SAP MDG, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  
  
• Develop detailed project plans, functional specifications, and test plans to ensure the successful implementation of SAP MDG.
  
  
• Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of business partner data across the organization.

• Interface the IT side of MDG with master data tools in conjunction with S/4 HANA.

• Ensure that all master data processes comply with industry regulations and standards, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.
  
  

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MDM consultant.
• Extensive experience in managing Business Partner Master Data.
• Experience in heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemicals, and healthcare.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MDG solution and its functionalities.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA and its integration with master data tools.
• Experience with interface design and implementation between SAP MDG and other master data tools.

Languages: German and English
Rate: €/hr (market rates)
Duration: Initial 6 contract with rolling 6 months extensions until 2027
Fulltime: 5 days per week
Location: two possible locations of Munich and Frankfurt.
Travel requirements: 3 weeks remote and 1 week onsite per month
Travel expenses to be paid by the customer
