DevSecOps Practice Architect

Energize Cloud is searching for an experienced DevSecOps Practice Architect to work with an AWS Advanced Partner and value-added reseller for IT Solutions and Services. For this position, the ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background and be well-versed across AWS, Azure, and GCP with deep technical/ hands-on capabilities in DevSecOps. As a DevSecOps Practice Architect, you will be put on multiple projects with the company's Fortune 10 clients and help in a pre-sales capacity. 

As a DevSecOps Practice Architect, you will may be involved in the following types of engagements at any given time: 

• Support DevSecOps practice pre-sales opportunities by assisting Practice Lead & sales organization in an overlay capacity with customer sales opportunities
• Participate in technical discovery for services opportunities, preparing presentations and subsequent levels of effort/pricing
• Demonstrate thought leadership in the DevSecOps practice internally and externally including performing presentations & demos to varying personas
• Assist sales organization in leading proof-of-concepts, sizing practice software bill of materials & required services
• Participate in technical mentoring of professional services team members
• Provide DevSecOps practice technical oversight of assigned delivery projects
• Engage in hands-on Architecture deliverables for customer initiatives and engineering work as required to ensure successful outcomes
• Collaborate with other Professional Services practice areas on cross-sell, multi-practice sales opportunities & program delivery execution
• Partner with DevSecOps Practice lead to help further develop practice strategy and execution
• Assist with developing internal training and enablement materials for different team member personas
• Provide subject matter expertise in automation assessments, configuration management, pipeline delivery, event-driven orchestration, containerization & other emerging areas

Skills & Requirements: 

• 5+ years of work in the DevOps, CI/CD space (build/deploy pipelines, IaC/Environment/Test automation/Artifact Management), and Kubernetes
• Extensive experience with public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) & on-premise private clouds
• Prior experience working in agile, lean or iterative teams
• Strong understanding of networking, operating system fundamentals (Windows and Linux), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Proficient in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Ruby, Java or similar)
• Hands on scripting and configuration management expertise (bash/PowerShell/Python/Ansible/Terraform or similar)
• Prior experience working with git source control management & workflows
• Prior experience working in agile or lean teams
• Prior experience working in both pre-sales & delivery customer facing consulting roles
• Demonstrated self-starter ability to discover, document, decompose, research and solve for complex problems at scale

An ideal candidate would have all or some of the following: 

• AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect certification
• Redhat Ansible certification
• Hashicorp Vault and Terraform certification
• CKA/CKD certification
• Integration with ITSM/ITOM workflows (ServiceNow)
• Hands-on experience with value stream mapping / management

• Salary Range (varies based on candidate and skillset): $170k-$210k
