Energize Tech is searching for a Chief Technology Officer / Chief Engineer on behalf of a robotics start-up in Boston, MA.

Their exceptional team, rich in experience, is committed to delivering top-tier robotic systems that liberate humans from monotonous and perilous tasks. Their objective is to engineer robots so that humanity can be free from robotic duties. Your primary responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Devising components using CAD, encompassing both original designs and seamless integration with partners and suppliers
- Spearheading software development for comprehensive autonomous capabilities, encompassing self-guided navigation, manipulation, and our cloud-based fleet management system
- Crafting lucid and intelligible documentation and design schematics for presentation to stakeholders
- Orchestrating the recruitment, assimilation, training, and supervision of the expanding technical workforce
- Serving as the representative of the company at industry events and conferences
Qualifications sought after include, but are not confined to:
- A decade or more of involvement in the robotics sector, with a keen familiarity in deploying robots to real-world settings. This entails the assessment of safety and the creation of safety-critical systems in adherence to ISO and RAS standards
- A track record of over five years in CAD software utilization, accompanied by a substantiated portfolio showcasing adeptness in designing mechanical components and coordinating their production through external suppliers or in-house fabrication
- An experience spanning five years in crafting efficient, clean C++ code for robotics systems in active use. This encompasses an adeptness in recognized software industry standards applicable to robotics (ROS, OpenCV, PCL)
- Proficiency in comprehending electrical systems
- Demonstrable leadership qualities and exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal forms
- A profound passion for environmentally friendly technology and technology's role in society
