I’m working with a fast-growing provider of secure, highly reliable managed cloud solutions that supports both SMB and enterprise clients. Their service portfolio spans major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) as well as private cloud and cybersecurity offerings. The company has a strong reputation for innovation, robust benefits, and a people-focused culture.
They’re currently looking to hire an Account Executive to help drive new cloud services and consulting business. This individual will be responsible for acquiring new customers, managing strategic accounts, and delivering revenue growth across recurring and non-recurring services. It’s a quota-carrying role focused on full-cycle B2B sales.
Highlights of the role:
Own the sales process end-to-end — from prospecting through close — maintaining a strong funnel and consistently meeting/exceeding targets
Build and expand relationships within AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud partner ecosystems
Execute across multiple channels: direct sales, channel/partner sales, internal referrals, and industry events
Use a consultative, value-oriented sales approach to position tailored cloud solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery, product, marketing, and customer success to ensure smooth handoffs and client satisfaction
Stay current on cloud technology trends and competitive dynamics
Ideal background:
4+ years in IT/cloud sales (both direct and channel), with a proven record of hunting and closing new business
Experience selling cloud infrastructure or managed services; certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP are a plus
Polished communication, executive presence, and strong negotiation skills
Ability to travel ~35-40%
Bachelor’s degree + ~6 years of experience (or equivalent)
Compensation: Base salary in the $112K – $168K range, plus an annual incentive plan with a target of ~$85K.
