Kristy has the ideal resumé for an exceptional career at Energize – check out her Q&A:
Hi Kristy! First question: what attracted you to join Energize?
“I was attracted to Energize because of the genuine people. Unlike most employers, they really wanted to know more about me and not just what I have accomplished in my professional life. I moved to Los Angeles from Nebraska and it was hard for me to find a group of employers that cared about me further than my professional success. It was awesome to know that they cared about me personally and not just professionally.”
What was your first impression of Energize?
“My first impression of Energize was outstanding due to the amazing location of the office, welcoming people, and the open team collaboration environment.”
What have you learnt so far in your journey at Energize?
“So far, I have learned how to be direct and straight to the point. I have learned to not waste anyone’s time, and it is important to be honest and transparent with everyone you are working with.”
What motivates you?
“What motivates me is the fantastic incentives that Energize offers. Gavin our CEO is always setting goals and offering rewards for those accomplishments. For example, I hit my target for the week and get to finish early on a Friday. They also offer bigger incentives, such as a mini-vacation to Ibiza, for high performance. It is great to know that the successful work you accomplish doesn’t go unnoticed and you are always rewarded.”
If you weren’t a Recruitment Consultant, what job would you be doing?
“If money didn’t matter, I would be a traveling yoga instructor! I love teaching people how to take away from life to focus on their physical, mental, and spiritual health.”
Most Embarrassing Moment?
“My most embarrassing moment was when I decided to wear white jeans and I happen to sit in chocolate ice cream in high school. My friend and I ditched the cafeteria food to get a fresh pizza. I was so excited to eat the pizza that I pulled out a chair and sat down so quick and realized that I just sat in a puddle of chocolate ice cream. The whole cafeteria saw and started laughing. I instantly ran to the nurse’s office crying and got sent home for the rest of the day!”
Which famous person do you admire?
“I admire Lady Gaga because she always stayed true to herself without letting external negativity bring her down. She is also extremely talented in multiple things which is very cool.”
What advice would you give to someone thinking of applying to Energize?
“Some advice that I would give to someone who is applying at Energize is to think about the support system that you look for in a career. Are you looking for a loyal team that genuinely cares about your personal and professional success? Are you looking to have strong friendships inside and outside of the office? Are you looking to work closely with a team that believes in a work hard play hard environment? Look no further, apply at Energize now!”
